At Mānoa Family Practice, care is currently provided by a licensed Nurse Practitioner offering comprehensive primary care for adults and children. Conveniently located in the Mānoa Marketplace, our practice is dedicated to delivering personalized, compassionate care in a welcoming community setting.

As our patient panel continues to grow, we plan to thoughtfully expand our care team to include a Family Medicine physician. This approach allows us to maintain continuity, access, and the high standard of care our patients value.

Alicia Knowles, APRN, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of healthcare experience. She provides full-scope primary care to patients across the lifespan, from young children to older adults, and is known for building strong, long-term relationships with individuals and families. Her professional journey has taken her from Texas to Hawai‘i and abroad, where she served U.S. Embassy communities in China and Equatorial Guinea and participated in medical mission work in Peru. Alicia is fluent in English and Spanish and brings a culturally sensitive, patient-centered approach to every visit.

Her clinical interests include preventive care, management of acute and chronic conditions, health screenings, and patient education. She blends evidence-based medicine with a warm, thoughtful style focused on listening, collaboration, and whole-person care.
